About

I am a Ph.D candidate in the Political Science Department at Columbia University, where I do work on political theory and the history of political thought. My research focuses on the link between natural law philosophy and the idea of the secular state in early modern Europe, with particular attention to the work of Francisco de Vitoria, Francisco Suárez, Hugo Grotius, and John Locke.

I currently teach “Modern Political Thought” at New York University (SPS).
